Day 1

Ok so I an a little late starting this. I got a little busy. Here we go. Day 1
My day was good. I had a day off from work so I was able to catch up oh house cleaning and laundry. One of my favorite things to do on these kind of days, is turn my I-pod up real loud and sing along! (since no one is home) Since I don't have much of a singing voice. Anyways here is a picture of me. Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Time is on my side

All summer I have been trying to decide what it is I should be doing. I decided to take a semester off to find out what exactly I should be doing. I loved BYU-Idaho. It's a great school, and whoever is lucky enough to go, had made a great choice. But I have also decided that it's not for everyone. Including me. Last semester I felt very out of place and that there is another path for me to take. I have learned alot about my self in these last few months.
1. I can't function without a plan. I even started using a planner!
2. I don't like being in limbo.
3. I really don't like to run. (I use to)
4) I rather sleep in and stay out late.
5) It doesnt matter to me what people think.
6) Most important I know that I am a child of God and the lord knows best. And in his time everything will work out.

I am still young and single, I have the time to find out what it is i want to be when I "grow up". I don't like the unknown. But this has taught me to have faith in my Heavenly Father that he will help me to understand what it is he wants me to do.

Drum roll pleass!!!

I know what it is that I want! I am going to Austin Kade Acadamey to do Esthetics. Fot those that maybe don't know what that is. I will be working with the skin. such as facials. and much much more! I would still love to do social work, but that can come later! I am just so excited!

Patience

Well its been a busy month since i have done a post. I have been staying busy with work and enjoying my summer. This post is to get my nervers in check. in less then 24 hours I have to give my fist lesson in RS. I have never gotten up in front of a class and had them depending on me to teach them something. I am teaching Patience. Through preparing this lesson I have been able to see the lords hand in helping me prepare this lesson. It has proven to me that the Lord is always there. We just have to be patient to recive the answers we are searching for. Their is a quote that im using that states " sometimes its in the waiting, rather then in the reciving that we will grow the most." This is so true. Somethimes we have to just have faith that the lord hears our prayers and will answer our prayers in his timing. I am very gratefull that I have been able to prepare this lesson. I just hope the ladies in the class will get as much out of this lesson as I did. Wish me Luck!

Fmaily, Friends,and drive ins.

This past weekend I turned 20.Birthdays have never been something that has been a big production. My great friends decided to change my outlook on having a birthday. I had such a great day! I was able to hang with my grandma in Idaho Falls while I was waiting on my mom to come shopping with me for the afternoon. I went back to Rexburg about 4 to pick up the girls and get everything ready for the night. My brother in-laws family was kind enough to let me borrow their red truck for the drive in. we ended up having 3 trucks. It worked out really well! thanks to all that helped out to make my day great!

Little cleaning lady

It is now 1:30 am and I have just now finished cleaning the kitchen, living Room and Bathroom. Let me tell you what! It needed to be done! Dishes were about to topple over, they were stacked so high! I was trying to see how long it would take before they got done. Ya it totally back fired! But oddly enough doing the dishes can be very relaxing. It gave me time to think and just catch my breath from the long week. I have my fist and only mid term this week and I'm hopin and a prayin that I do well! If you are wondering why i happen to be up this late... well let me tell you! I seem to have gotten my self in a tight pinch, I stay up late and wake up early and then take 3 hour naps after class. So therefor I'm in this cycle i cant seem to end. But Iv come to see its the quietest time at my apartment; great time to study when I can keep myself awake that is! I know figure that one right? ha but life is good I love being at BYU-I and I'm so grateful to be able to go to such a great school! Well I am off to bed who knows maybe ill wake up rhyming again!

Laughs all around

Well it is May 28th and it has been raining all week. It should be such nice weather by now! But in Idaho we get to experience all 4 season in 1 day! Well today with the rain, the side walks are all wet. flooded sidewalks + my being so clumsy= disaster! I was walking back to my car and within 500 yards i slipped and fell 5 different times! The first few times people tried to not laugh but by the 4th to 5th time they were bust out laughing! Trying not to show how funny they really thought it was, they would just kinda snicker but by the time it was full out laughing and not even trying to hid it, I got back to my car my makeup was running down my face, my cheeks were flushed red and my butt pockets were drenched! No worries i made it to my car alive. I didn't die of embarrassment. By this time it was pretty funny that I am 19 years old and still cant stay on my feet!

Eggs Anyone?

Coming to college had forced me to start fending for myself, my wonderful mother use to cook the best meals for me and made sure I wasn't starving. Well now that i live away from home I now have to make sure I get enough to eat and sleep. So slowly I have been teaching myself to cook a thing or 2. I can now cook scrambled eggs, pancakes, enchiladas, and pasta. I'll on the fast track to being the best cook you will ever know! ok so maybe thats a little far. But I think my mother would just be happy that I'm not starving.

A new outlook

Thees past few weeks have been busy with school, tests, dating and work. Where do I even start... the start of school I started to notice that i couldn't see the board very well. I had my eyes checked... yep you guessed it, I had to get glasses! i now wear them to read and drive. despite my previous opinion of glasses they really aren't to bad....

The start of something new

So I have decided to start a blog. After reading friends and family's blog I thought it looked like fun. Well I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Morgan, I'm currently attending BYU-Idaho and loving it! I'm planning on majoring in social work and working with the spacial needs kids. I am currently working as a sub for Madison school district and I just love all the kids that I have worked with. I am hoping to work as a part time Aid next school year if I am able to fit it in while going to school. But for now I am enjoying the life as a college student eating my scrambled eggs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or oreos and milk for a midnight snack, and taking life as it comes.
